Autonomous driving project of an international automotive supplier

Project vehicle for autonomous driving equipped with Space Drive.

In this unique project, the sensor technology of an international automotive supplier was installed in a test vehicle for autonomous and semi-autonomous driving. An additional computing unit was installed in the rear of the vehicle to process the extensive data and then coupled with the Space Drive II drive-by-wire system. During autonomous driving, the ASIL D certified system takes over the fail-safe control of the primary functions of accelerator, brake and steering.
